Overview
To empower and provide quality education at an affordable cost, The medium of instruction and examination at SFMU is English. Currently, 500+ students are enrolled in various undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate programs offered by nine departments including CSE, EEE, Business Administration (BBA, EMBA), English, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Bangla and Post Graduate Diploma in Library Management & Information Science.
The SFMU campus also offers a spacious auditorium, a large library, game rooms, programing lab, EEE lab, moot court, parking space, etc. The classrooms are well equipped with computers and projectors to assist both students and the faculty. Campus wide Wi-Fi is available for students too. We have an excellent group of faculty members with fantastic academic and research backgrounds as well as our staffs are highly efficient in doing administrative tasks with full security, responsibility and accountability. Most of our faculty members and staffs are from top international and national institutions such as Universiti Utara Malaysia, University of Malaya (UM), DU, RU, SUST, JU, JUST, MEC, JnU, KUET, CUET, BUP, IUT, JKKNIU, KU, BSMRSTU, NU, IU, AIUB, Stamford University, and Northern University etc.

It is my great delight to set up an educational entity which aims to fulfill a dream and vision of people in greater region for young generation who may have their suitable career settlements. Mass community struggles for betterments of life quality and educational development which are going to be real after implementing the initiative of establishing Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University of which the name has a historic and symbolic meaning carries a greater significance in Bangladesh . The commencement of this university was initiated in 2010 with all necessary measures and steps of a complete educational Institution under the private university Act and rules of the Ministry of Education.
I feel proud of being a part of this noble establishment as a university to serve the objectives of common and needy community who will have good results in such educational service. This creation in human service remains eternally as a light of knowledge to enlighten the minds of million learners in future. We have been further advanced on building a new campus with 30 acres land where modern facilities and architectures are engaged in building work. I finally cherish a genuine hope to see this prospect to happen truly and call upon all lovers of education for coming forward with their benevolent support.
